We encourages our students to participate in all ministerial, educational and social activities for the purpose of developing leadership and interpersonal skills. These skills are critical for effective ministry and growth.
Participation
Students learn in small class groups from anywhere from 3 to 10. Allowing discussion and interaction to be a main style of how we teach the foundational and DNA classes.
Class Size
Our main focus is on personal transformation. While there are no grades given, participation, excellence, and timely completion of homework is expected of each student.
Assignments are done according to the honor system. So as to build integrity and a healthy balance of growth and independence.
Grading & Honor System
Reading is a large part of our curriculum so plan on reading 30–60 minutes a day. Our homework in large includes reading the Bible and instructional books on freedom, leadership, personal growth, and spiritual truths.
Reading
We uphold "set apart" godly behavior in our students and ministers. Our entertainment, language, relationships, and social interactions coincide with purity, honesty, and conviction.
Standards
NLDC is not an accredited, degree-granting educational institution so students are not eligible for financial aid, student loans, grants or tax benefits. However, we celebrate each graduate with a Certificate of Completion which serves as a validation to future ministry employers.
