NLDC BACKSTAGE: January 2008
Testimony from Colombia
While in Colombia we stayed in Medellin, the second largest city in the country. It’s about five times the size of New York City. We ministered in three different churches while we were there. We preached the Gospel on the streets and in a park. We were even given the opportunity to minister at a local orphanage.
We saw over 150 people saved for the first time and twice that amount rededicate there lives to the Lord. We prayed for miracles and saw God move in so many amazing ways. At one altar call we saw over 50 people receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. We even saw a man give His Heart to Jesus on the Metro.
Every alter call we had was full of people wanting more of Jesus. People that are involved in New Age came to our services and gave their hearts to Jesus. It’s never ceases to amaze me that God always shows up when you do his will. God inspired all of the team in ways that you can not imagine.
Honestly during this trip our biggest enemy was just not enough time to do every thing that we wanted to do. Each Sunday we did at least four services. One place we did three in the morning, then three in the evening at a different church!
The team did not want to leave and the host family didn’t want them to leave either; it was the hardest thing we had to do. As of now we are planning another trip to Colombia possibly as soon as next summer. We have big plans for that trip. One of the churches we work with there has churches they planted in 43 other cities in Colombia that they would love for us to go to.
Thanks to the team; Erika, Josh, Mark, Lisa, Angela, and my lovely wife Sandra!

Testimony Time (Some of what God did in 2007)
We were doing a park outreach, and there were nearly 500 people in this park. We didn't have any sort of PA system but we just went for it with our voices. A crowd of about 150 people gathered around to watch us minister in the middle of the park. When we gave the altar call nearly half of the gathered crowd came forward for prayer! It didn't stop there, God kept moving, and we prayed with people for over two more hours.

We gave an alter call to be free from addiction, and a man came up to me for prayer. He then placed his pack of cigarettes in my hand, and thanked me for showing him that he could be free!

This Christmas we worked with a church that dealt with the underprivileged. We wrapped hundreds of presents and went through the whole neighborhood going door to door passing them out. When we were out of presents we still went door to door doing drama at every door we stopped at. We finished off simply playing with and loving on a bunch of kids from the neighborhood.

We ministered in a youth group in Florida, and finished the service with a sketch called Voices. This particular sketch deals with suicide. We had half a dozen youth come forward at the alter call dealing with suicide or self mutilation that night. Jesus totally set them free!

Recently a girl came up to me and thanked me for being such an encouragement to her. I didn't recognizer her, but she had seen me the previous year, and still remembered me. She shared with me some things that she was going through and I was able to encourage her. It was so humbling to have such an amazing affect on this girl that I hardly knew
