Colombia Missions Journal Excerpts
Day One
Starting off this morning we had prayer & worship, ending with a song that says, "Ask and I'll give the nations to you, O Lord, that's the cry of our hearts". Leaving Cleveland, we went to Miami, from Miami to Medellin, Colombia! Medellin is known as the "land of eternal springtime". We arrived a little after nine and were warmly welcomed by Sandra's sister Eliana and her husband Juan. They took us to Sandra's parents’ house where we had sandwiches and mango juice. We showed her family "Any Questions" which was Sandra's acting debut.
Day Three
We ended up getting off to a late start but things picked up and it was amazing. When we got to the church, this one was Comunidad Cristiano de Fe (Christian Community of Faith); we were greeted by Pastor Andrew who was originally from West Virginia. He had planted this church, which is rather large, in 1994. We did a sketch for a ladies meeting and then headed over to the youth group. We did a couple of sketches for them and then the youth pastor gave a message and we were able to pray for several youth that evening. Donnie and Sandra spent some extra time with a girl who, with in a few moments, made a decision for Christ! It was amazing.
Day Four
We started off today with a discussion on prayer and healing, followed by praying for health for one of team members, she got better tremendously. We were able to visit Sandra's own home church and work something out. We ended up doing a sketch called 'The Mask' and Sandra wound up giving an altar call for salvation to which three young men responded! That was really cool. From there we went directly to Centro de Fe y Esperanza where we had our first full service. During the altar call, most of the people came up and the front was packed, standing room only. It was amazing!
Day Seven
We did a workshop today, our first at Centro de Fe y Esperanza and it went amazingly well! The group was really easy to work with and we were able to teach them a few sketches. We decided we would come back Thursday to finish up on those. We prayed for Sandra's niece, Camilla, who had been throwing up and even had been to the ER the night before. The next day she was completely healed! Praise Jesus!
Day Eight
In the morning we talked about being prepared for the rest of this trip, not letting our guard down for the enemy to come in while we're here.
We ended up having lunch with Pastor Edwin and a couple of guys from a local theatre group. We made a date for the next morning to teach each other drama things. After that we went to get ready for the service that evening.
We did the service at Sandra's church, and it was amazing!!! At least 80% came up during the altar call. We ended up praying for a lady who was ill as well as the leadership group and Donnie prophesied over the church.
We've seen about 40 salvations and even more rededications.Although we haven't seen the physical manifestations of all of them, we have prayed for a lot of people who are or were sick or dealing with handicaps. One was Sandra's grandmother, Oceila, who had fallen and hurt her side; she was in a lot of pain. She is completely fine now! Every church we have been to, as well as Sandra's family, are talking about the next time we are here. Praise the Lord. It has been amazing and we are looking forward to the second half of our trip.
Some of Sandra's family, who had been walking away from the church, away from God, has been coming to services while we've been here. They are such a huge blessing to us and to see her family's prayers answered concerning them was phenomenal.

England Team Returns from Mission Trip
Our mission trip England ended September 25th and the team cannot stop raving about the experience. Murph, the team leader shares with us some insight and testimony about the working of the Holy Spirit in the UK.
God is so amazing! I love Him so much! We had an amazing trip to England as God provided us with more than we could possibly give back.
In the three weeks we ministered in England we performed in several churches throughout the cities of London, Kent and Birmingham. Our team passed out almost ten thousand tracts and performed drama on the streets. We were persecuted for preaching the Gospel openly, but witnessed thirty-two people give their hearts to the Lord for the first time!
God did so many amazing things during this trip: testimonies of Providence, of the Presence of God, and His saving grace. But to testify to all of them would take up so much more space then I have available here. There are two testimonies though that really stick out that I would like to share with you.
The first testimony is about God’s faithfulness to provide and bless. His timing is always perfect. We had several days during the trip where we did not have a scheduled place to minister. These were free days for the team to sight-see and enjoy, but we wanted to make sure that our focus was on ministry. There’s nothing wrong with having a bit of fun, but we live in a hurting world that needs a touch from God and we wanted to remain open to that opportunity. One day God gave us the opportunity to minister to a school.
You could really feel the presence of God in the service. Afterwards, many of the students came up to us thanking us for the great ministry. The principal said that he was very blessed to have us as well. Also during one of these days, we went into downtown London to evangelize. We had prayer and worship in the morning as a team and we could feel that God had something special for us that day. We went to the streets a short time later to proclaim the gospel. Besides passing out thousands of tracts that day, we were also able to minister to many people on the buses and subways of London!
The second testimony was near the end of our trip. We were ministering in Kent (about an hour southeast of London), in a theater. We were asked to plan on an evangelistic service. We had all the dramas prepared for an outreach to adults. Once the time came for the service, though, almost the whole crowd were children and youth. So at the last minute we felt we needed to change the dramas and the message for the younger audience. The dramas went very well and at the altar call eleven people came forward to commit their lives to Christ - a father and his daughter were two of them.
After the ministry was over, one teenage girl came up to me and shared that she wanted so badly to come forward but she knew that God couldn’t forgive her. I then shared with her the story of the prodigal son and the Father’s unlimited love for her. His forgiveness, as well as the power that comes only from the Holy Spirit to overcome sin was available to her. She gave her heart to Christ behind the stage that night. I promise you that there was a party in Heaven because twelve people came into the Kingdom that night alone!
There are many other testimonies that I would love to share, but that gives you a good idea of the type of ministry that we experienced. Overall, everybody had a wonderful time, and God changed many people’s lives. I guess the best way to end it would by saying that Our God is an awesome God!
