NLDC: What caused you to join the NLDC?

Ellen: I was planning on going to college, but God really began to speak to me about joining this ministry instead.

NLDC: How did God speak to you?

Ellen: It was so cool! I needed God to do several things before I would be able to make the decision to join, and He came through on all of them! First the band I was in was totally cool with me joining. Secondly it was important for me to have my grandma’s blessing and she said that she felt a peace about me coming here. 
The third this was that I needed the finances.  God awesomely supplied everything I needed!

NLDC: What do you expect to learn here in the NLDC?  

Ellen: So many different things! I see this as my spiritual boot camp to build me into spiritual fitness.  I so want to have a servant’s heart, as well as totally fall in love with God, and build my relationship with Him, apart from all the normal distractions of life.  I want God to be more important than anything else in life.
